Matthew 9:10

Matthew 9:10

Matthew celebrated his new life by throwing a party — and his social circle was the 'wrong crowd'. Jesus did not hold back. He sat with them, ate with them, and welcomed them. Table fellowship was deeply significant in that culture.

Memory phrase: Jesus welcomes everyone to His table

Talk about it: Jesus ate with people others looked down on. Who are the 'wrong crowd' today, and how should we treat them?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for welcoming me — even when I feel like I'm not good enough. Help me welcome others too.
